Allison Strong, aka "The Radioactive Patient," is a mental health activist, motivational public speaker, and the host of "The Radioactive Patient" YouTube channel. Her written work has been published or is forthcoming in The Opiate, SUBSTANCE, The Perch Literary and Arts Review, The McNeese Review, and The Miami Herald, among others. From 2021-2025 she served as associate editor for Kallisto Gaia Press. Her work-in-progress, The Cure: Love, Rock 'N Roll, and Suboxone is an account of her recovery from tardive dyskinesia, chronic pain, and medical stigma.
